Patrol eggs on Halloween crew
FIVE youths in a car had 30 eggs in six cartons at a property when they were stopped by Cottesloe police patrolling for Halloween vandalism in Peppermint Grove last Saturday.
Sergeant Darren Gates said the eggs were confiscated and the youths cautioned but there were no reports of last-chance partygoers at Radhika Oswal’s mansion on Bay View Terrace.
The only Halloween incident dealt with by Wembley police was eggs thrown at a Lawler Street, North Perth home.
Last week, it was incorrectly reported that Peppermint Grove Council spent $650,000 fighting Mrs Oswal about the unfinished mansion, when the correct amount was $65,000.
