Push on helping mums

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Business -

WEMBLEY-based GP obstetrician Leon Levitt’s brainchild Big Pram Walk takes place at Lake Monger Reserve on Sunday, November 15.

The inaugural event aims to raise funds for beyondblue and create awareness for perinatal depression and anxiety.

Dr Levitt said he wanted to create a community of mums helping other mums.

He approached P&N Bank to help get the message out as part of a new campaign.

Chief executive Andrew Hadley said P&N was delighted to help get the inaugural community event off the ground.

“The campaign is really all about the power of what people can do when they operate together and cooperate for the greater good,” he said.

“As a customer-owned organisation, we champion the idea that individuals flourish when the community works together as a collective and we look forward to spreading the message through our social media channels.” Arrive at 8.30am for a 9am start.
