New re­cruit Nick Maiolo then spun his side to­wards vic­tory, tak­ing a stun­ning 754 to dis­miss the away side for 226, leav­ing the Stu­dents a tar­get of 103 for an out­right vic­tory.

John Rogers (35) and Bren­dan Mur­ray (45) lead their side to a re­mark­able win, pass­ing the to­tal three wick­ets down, a mas­sive move for­ward for the side.

Su­bi­aco Floreat slumped to 13th on the lad­der af­ter a dis­ap­point­ing loss to Fre­man­tle at Floreat Park.

Chas­ing 304, only wick­et­keeper­bats­man Calum How showed any ma­jor fight for the hosts with 67.
