The royal treatment
LIGHTNING struck as Prince Charles cut his birthday cake at Cottesloe Civic Centre last Saturday night. About 600 guests helped the Prince celebrate his 67th birthday at a barbecue hosted by Premier Colin Barnett and his wife Lyn. Prince Charles, who was accompanied by wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, led a minute’s silence for the victims of Friday night’s Paris terror attacks and reflected on his fond memories of Perth. WA Academy of Performing Arts students were among the performers on the night and the dinner included produce from Broome, the Stirling Ranges and Mt Barker.
