Cool donation by jeweller
A DORIS Brinkhaus $32,000 diamond tennis bracelet will be up for grabs at the Caps for Cancer fundraising event at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club tonight.
The Claremont jeweller has donated $45,000 worth of jewellery to help raise money to improve the lives and preserve the dignity of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
A gold bracelet featuring more than seven carats of diamonds is among the bespoke pieces that will be auctioned and raffled.
Event organiser Lovell Anstee-Brook said they wanted to raise enough money to buy several ‘cooling caps’ that cost about $37,000 each and minimise the effects and impact of chemotherapy on the scalp,
