Don’t tarry, take Barry

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Business -

BROWN-EYED pooch Barry looks like butter would not melt in his mouth.

The two-year-old staffy is awaiting a ‘forever home’ at the Shenton Park Dog’s Refuge after his owner surrendered him to a vet earlier this month.

Dogs Refuge staff Lauren Shepherd said Barry was a young dog with a lot of potential to live with kids and families.

“He’s just gorgeous; he’s been in the office with us for a couple of days and he is so lovely,” Ms Shepherd said.

Ms Shepherd said Barry was a well-tempered and socialised dog. Captain Cat is a relaxed and friendly senior feline in need of a home.

Cat hand Jon Bau said the 15-year-old had been at the Cat Haven since early October.

“I think he thrives on company; he is a real companion cat,” Mr Bau said.

“He’d be great for families, couples, older people; really anyone who can pay him attention.”
