Rokeby Road business owners say the two-day road closure, pedestrian barricades, turn-away signs and empty tents left overnight from Markets on Rokeby has damaged night-time trade.

Oh dear. Here we go. Someone tries an event to stimulate Subiaco because business has been complaining about the decline and now business is still complaining.

Idiots! If anything, Rokeby Road should be closed permanently to car traffic. Except perhaps taxis and buses. The entirety of Europe runs this way. - Bill Mayhem Not even remotely surprised.

I am a Subiaco resident and I would like to know why the shopowners don’t open their shops when people want to eat. We went for dinner at 6pm on Sunday and the particular venue we wanted to eat at was closed.

I hate to say it, but Subiaco is dying compared to likes of Leederville and Mt Lawley. Do something Subiaco. Become interesting. - Daniel Nunn Let’s support Subi.
