Hobson thrilled to field for Australia
FORMER Scotch College student Nick Hobson says he loved every minute of fielding for Australia in the WACA Test match, after Usman Khawaja was injured.
The Claremont-Nedlands Cricket Club batsman, who started playing cricket when he was six, was a substitute fielder for Australia at the WACA Test match.
Hobson even signed some autographs for a few lucky fans.
“That was just a bit of fun, I guess it was part of the experience,” he said. “It all went really fast.
“I had a great time and I was just lucky to get that opportunity – I loved it.”
