Switch­ing on the fes­tive fun

SU­BI­ACO will launch the fes­tive sea­son with free com­mu­nity event Switch on Su­bi­aco at the Su­bi­aco Mu­seum gar­dens on De­cem­ber 4 from 7pm.

Mayor Heather Hen­der­son said she was ex­cited to launch a “spec­tac­u­lar light­ing dis­play” near the City of Su­bi­aco’s 30m tall Christ­mas tree, fol­lowed by carols from the Perth Har­mony Cho­rus.

A fes­tive fun fair will be held at Su­bi­aco Mu­se­ums gar­dens on De­cem­ber 5 from 1pm to 5pm with a climb­ing wall, teacup rides, slip and slide, pet­ting zoo and spe­cial visit from Fa­ther Christ­mas.

The fair will be fol­lowed by an out­door movie screen­ing of Home Alone at the Su­bi­aco Pri­mary School oval from 6.30pm.
