CEOs to get fundraiser rolling

PERTH’S big bosses will race on Seg­ways for Rocky Bay’s an­nual Walk With Me Perth - CEO Chal­lenge on Thurs­day.

Rocky Bay mar­ket­ing man­ager Si­mon Page said the Mos­man Park or­gan­i­sa­tion had a very novel way of cel­e­brat­ing In­ter­na­tional Day of Peo­ple with Dis­abil­ity on De­cem­ber 3.

“The aim is to raise aware­ness, break down bar­ri­ers and open doors to em­ploy­ment of peo­ple with dis­abil­ity,” Mr Page said. “At the same time we raise money to­wards new tech­nol­ogy and have a lot of fun.

“We are very for­tu­nate to live in a gen­er­ous state, a city full of peo­ple able and will­ing to sup­port oth­ers; a city of cham­pi­ons.”

Rocky Bay am­bas­sadors and chief ex­ec­u­tives of var­i­ous com­pa­nies will race on Seg­ways be­fore tak­ing part in an ob­sta­cle course in­volv­ing a quiz, slalom and wa­ter chal­lenge.
