CEOs to get fundraiser rolling
PERTH’S big bosses will race on Segways for Rocky Bay’s annual Walk With Me Perth - CEO Challenge on Thursday.
Rocky Bay marketing manager Simon Page said the Mosman Park organisation had a very novel way of celebrating International Day of People with Disability on December 3.
“The aim is to raise awareness, break down barriers and open doors to employment of people with disability,” Mr Page said. “At the same time we raise money towards new technology and have a lot of fun.
“We are very fortunate to live in a generous state, a city full of people able and willing to support others; a city of champions.”
Rocky Bay ambassadors and chief executives of various companies will race on Segways before taking part in an obstacle course involving a quiz, slalom and water challenge.
Walk With Me Perth - CEO Challenge runs from 11.45am-1pm at Government House Gardens. The event is free but requires an invitation entry that can be downloaded from www.walkwithmeperth.org.au.
The Walk With Me – CEO Challenge raised more than $80,000 for Rocky Bay last year.
