THE West Leed­erville branch of gym Snap Fit­ness is among those al­legedly robbed by a Mirra­booka man (27) in the past month. Se­nior Sergeant Mur­ray Gen­eff said a search of the man’s Wintersweet Ram­ble, Mirra­booka, home on Novem­ber 24 found stolen per­sonal items worth about $30,000, in­clud­ing items from the In­naloo and Dianella branches of the gym. “We still have not been able to de­ter­mine how he got in, but we as­sume he used a swipe card,” Snr Sgt Gen­eff said. The man was charged with four counts of fraud, and two of steal­ing, be­fore he was re­manded in cus­tody to ap­pear in court at a later date.

Snr Sgt Gen­eff said po­lice would al­lege the boys boarded a train at Su­bi­aco train sta­tion af­ter the theft, be­fore po­lice fol­lowed and ar­rested them on the train, where the bot­tles were found in a back­pack. The Wil­lagee boy was charged with steal­ing and the South Lake boy with an out­stand­ing war­rant for his ar­rest. Both will ap­pear at Perth Chil­dren’s Court at a later date.

A LAP­TOP was taken from a Su­bi­aco Road home at 6pm on Novem­ber 21. Po­lice said the home’s owner was in the laun­dry at the time of the rob­bery. How­ever, he was not aware of the theft un­til he went into his bed­room later.

A MAN shout­ing “Cherrie, Cherrie” re­peat­edly at­tempted to get into a Bagot Road apart­ment about 2pm on Novem­ber 23. Po­lice said the shout­ing woke the apart­ment’s res­i­dent who went to the door when the man at­tempted twice to en­ter, be­fore run­ning off. The man was de­scribed as aged 50-60, wear­ing jeans and a flat, peaked cap and car­ry­ing a lap­top bag.



WEM­B­LEY po­lice will al­lege a Nol­la­mara woman (23) stole from swim­mers at the Beatty Park Aquatic Cen­tre, North Perth in a two-week spree un­til Novem­ber 25. Snr Sgt Gen­eff said per­sonal property, in­clud­ing bathers, was at the woman’s home when it was searched on Novem­ber 25. “It will be al­leged she had a pram and was load­ing it up at the swim­ming pool,” Snr Sgt Gen­eff said. The woman was charged with steal­ing, un­law­ful pos­ses­sion and breach of bail, be­fore she was re­manded in cus­tody to ap­pear in court at a later date.
