Notion put in motion

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Fashion -

MOTION Lifestyle is a unique retail concept fusing women’s street fashion, sneakers and sportswear.

The store opened earlier this year and is the brainchild of Wendy Eastland and Jane Crump, two highly motivated individuals who have experience in business development and management.

Eastland has spent more than 20 years sourcing urban labels and running prominent skate shops in Perth, while Crump has a financial background and, together with her husband, has owned several small businesses.

The idea behind Motion Lifestyle developed in response to a lack of choice in the high end women’s active wear market.

It is the only store in Australia which stocks a curated collection of premium Australian and international brands, including Adidas, Stella McArtney, Nike, Lacoste, Vik & Woods, New Balance, Vie Active, Nux, The Upside, Olympia and Hey Jo.

The store in Napoleon Street, Cottesloe, has a sleek design with a clean, gallery-type space.

The minimalist styling creates a relaxed vibe where women can choose from a range of premium active lifestyle clothing and footwear in a boutique setting.
