Lighting way for sick kids
THROUGHOUT December, fairy lights will mean more than Christmas cheer for about 40 families who are raising money for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
As part of the organisation’s 13th campaign, money donated to decorated homes registered across Perth will fund work at the new Perth Children’s Hospital.
Last year, more than 50 homes raised $122,287 for the PMH Foundation with decorations ranging from traditional nativity scenes to characters from popular film Frozen.
Chief executive Denys Pearce said people who visited the decorated houses and donated to the foundation ensured hospitalised children could experience a happy Christmas too.
“Many children who are cared for at PMH over the Christmas period might not have the opportunity to experience the magic of seeing Christmas Lights themselves,” Mr Pearce said.
“We love that visiting homes taking part in PMH Foundation’s Christmas Lights for PMH has become a special tradition for so many families.” Kanji Lp - ATWELL 267 Lyon Rd - AUBIN GROVE 5 Brennan Prom - BALDIVIS 30, 31 Heritage Park Dr - BALDIVIS 6 Westlakes Bvd - BALLAJURA 9 Myamba Ct - CARRAMAR 53 Waring Grn - CLARKSON 24 Margaret St - CUNDERDIN 136 Hornibrook Rd - DALYELLUP 27 Baumea Turn - HAMMOND PARK 4 Harrisdale Dr - HARRISDALE 5 Coongan Ct - HEATHRIDGE 4 Itea Ct - HIGH WYCOMBE 49 Kenneth Rd - HIGH WYCOMBE 24 Narrien Loop - HOCKING 26 Verona St - HOCKING 10 The Fairway - JANDAKOT 7 Aylesbury Close - JANDAKOT 42 Bathgate Loop - KOONDOOLA 5 Clovelly Mews - MINDARIE 23 Salamanca Pkwy - PORT KENNEDY 15 Swanson Way - SECRET HARBOUR 16 Strathalbyn Rd - STRATHALBYN 10 Plymouth Cnr - SUCCESS 21 Sheffield Bend - SUCCESS 72 Palmerston Cres - TAPPING 72 Forest Cres - THORNLIE 130 Arnott St - TRIGG 6 Cumberland Way - WAIKIKI 13 Biara Rd - YANCHEP 86, 71 Sandpiper Lp - YANGEBUP 2, 26 Mudlark Way - YANGEBUP 3 Egret Pl - YANGEBUP
