YEAR 12 Pres­by­te­rian Ladies’ Col­lege stu­dent Olivia De Jonge has taken home the prize for Best Edit­ing at the Bond Univer­sity Film and Tele­vi­sion Awards.

Olivia won the award for her film My Fu­ture at the BUFTA Gala Awards cer­e­mony on Novem­ber 28. Year 12 stu­dents In­dia Ste­wart and Sarah Ghos­sein also rep­re­sented PLC in the awards, with their film Milk also making it into the fi­nals.

Cairns High School stu­dent El­iz­a­beth Cullen be­came the sec­ond woman to win the top award of Best Over­all Film­maker in the BUFTA's 20-year history, earn­ing her a full schol­ar­ship to Bond Univer­sity on the Gold Coast to study a Bach­e­lor of Film and Tele­vi­sion.

Year 12 stu­dent Olivia De Jonge took home the prize for Best Edit­ing.
