Olivia’s future secured
YEAR 12 Presbyterian Ladies’ College student Olivia De Jonge has taken home the prize for Best Editing at the Bond University Film and Television Awards.
Olivia won the award for her film My Future at the BUFTA Gala Awards ceremony on November 28. Year 12 students India Stewart and Sarah Ghossein also represented PLC in the awards, with their film Milk also making it into the finals.
Cairns High School student Elizabeth Cullen became the second woman to win the top award of Best Overall Filmmaker in the BUFTA's 20-year history, earning her a full scholarship to Bond University on the Gold Coast to study a Bachelor of Film and Television.
Year 12 student Olivia De Jonge took home the prize for Best Editing.
