Sizzling beach looks
THE hottest swimwear and resort looks of spring/summer 2015/16 were showcased against the gorgeous backdrop of Fremantle’s Bathers Beach on November 29.
Swim and Resort Series 2015 featured eight sizzling WA labels including Amore & Sorvete, Bernice Sara, Gypsea, Natalie Rolt, Nu Swimwear, Palm Swimwear, Rue Stiic and Ocean Zone.
Celebrated resort wear label Camilla then delivered its latest collection, My Wandering Heart.
As Australia’s only annual premium swim and resort event this summer, it provided an opportunity to rub shoulders with Perth’s fashion clique and swimwear lovers.
Creative director Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan said there was no better location to hold the event.
“There are no better beaches in the world than here in WA and being hosted at one of summer’s hottest spots Bathers Beach House was incredible,” she said.
Local swimwear and resort designers shared a quick overview of labels showcased at the event.
Bernice Sarah introduced luxury swim and resort wear designs suitable for sauntering by the pool to sipping cocktails at the bar.
Gypsea designers Emma and Scott Bauer launched Sirens of the Sea, comprising four unique prints, Bellini, Soda Pop, Carbon Smash and Sonic Disco.
