MAN ON FRAUD CHARGES

A JOLIMONT man (33) al­legedly com­mit­ted at least five frauds us­ing a credit card taken from a car at a Kin­car­dine Cres­cent, Floreat home on Novem­ber 23. The car had been left un­locked at the front of the house, ac­cord­ing to Se­nior Sergeant Tony Booker. It will be al­leged the card was used to make pur­chases to­talling about $1300 at stores in­clud­ing Bun­nings Mor­ley. Gift cards were bought as well as food at cor­ner delis in Vic­to­ria Park. All the pur­chases were un­der $100. The man handed him­self in to Cottes­loe po­lice on De­cem­ber 2. He was charged with 16 counts of fraud, be­fore he was re­manded in cus­tody to ap­pear in court at a later date.
