Thousands supported campaign fundraising

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Western Opinion -

I THANK the thousands of West Australians who have participated in and supported our fundraising campaigns during the spring.

Thousands joined together to Light the Night for the Foundation's twilight lantern walks. Bartenders across the state also participated in U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year, raising funds in their local communities with their patrons through quirky and innovative events.

The inaugural WA Aussie Muscle Car Run was also a great success, with car enthusiasts touring the South-West raising funds to support people affected by leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

We have raised more than $601,000 through these campaigns. These funds will be used to give families free emotional and practical support as well assist in the fight against blood cancer. Andrew York, general manager WA,

Leukaemia Foundation.
