WITH the motto “car­ing com­mit­ment to women’s health,” Women’s & Breast Imag­ing is cel­e­brat­ing its 30th an­niver­sary at its Cottes­loe lo­ca­tion.

The clinic pi­o­neered breast imag­ing in WA 35 years ago and con­tin­ues to pave the way by in­vest­ing in new state-of-the-art equip­ment and tech­nol­ogy.

The com­pre­hen­sive ser­vices pro­vided at the clinic in­clude mam­mo­grams (2D and 3D), breast ul­tra­sounds, ul­tra­sound-guided fine nee­dle as­pi­ra­tions (FNA) and core biop­sies, vac­uum-as­sisted biop­sies (ul­tra­sound and X-ray guided), hook­wire lo­cal­i­sa­tion and gy­nae­co­log­i­cal ul­tra­sounds. The highly ex­pe­ri­enced and qual­i­fied staff pri­ori­tise pa­tient com­fort, are able to ease con­cerns and en­sure that ev­ery visit to the clinic is as stress free and re­laxed as is pos­si­ble.

To make sure all pa­tients feel com­pletely com­fort­able, all sono­g­ra­phers and ra­dio­g­ra­phers at the clinic are women.
