Trust in Ju­lian to ex­cel in new role

JU­LIAN Don­ald­son will get a two-day break be­tween leav­ing his role as Perth In­ter­na­tional Arts Fes­ti­val (PIAF) gen­eral man­ager to be­come the chief ex­ec­u­tive at the Na­tional Trust of Aus­tralia (WA).

Don­ald­son an­nounced he would step down from the PIAF role in Oc­to­ber last year with fi­nal drinks this Fri­day.

His ap­point­ment at the Na­tional Trust was an­nounced last Wed­nes­day.

“I am sure he will find The Gi­ants hard to top in his new role as the CEO of the Trust,” Mur­ray said.

“We look for­ward to the Trust be­ing the ben­e­fi­ciary of his un­doubted vi­sion and man­age­ment skills.”

Don­ald­son will re­place long serv­ing chief ex­ec­u­tive Tom Per­rigo who re­tired at the end of last year af­ter 25 years in the po­si­tion.
