WEMBLEY resident Jessica Kerr last month won the Melbourne round of Australia’s first The Big Bang Theory Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock tournament.

Kerr was on holidays in Melbourne when she competed.

The tournament combines the TV show The Big Bang Theory with a twist on an ageold game and a miniature boxing ring.

Competitors battled it out for five hours in a ‘best-of-five winner stays on’ format.

Internet pioneer and blogger Sam Kass created Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock, which was made famous when Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) introduced viewers to the unique twist on the game in an episode of The Big Bang Theory.
