THE Town of Cambridge has accepted an offer of $21.5 million for two grouped housing sites in the Perry Lakes Residential Estate.

Edge Visionary Living (EdgeVL) secured the sites with a 12-month settlement period.

Mayor Keri Shannon said the offer was within the Town’s price expectations for the land.

“The Perry Lakes Estate is a fantastic residential location and I look forward to the development of high-quality apartment complexes on the recently sold blocks,” Ms Shannon said.

“The development of the sites will provide a mix of housing to complement the existing highquality homes that make Perry Lakes a very desirable place to live.”

Cambridge acting chief executive Jason Lyon said the two lots form part of three group dwelling sites that were transferred from the State Government to the Town of Cambridge under the Perry Lakes Redevelopment Act.

“The Town will be giving consideration to the timing of putting the third and final lot on the market at some stage this year” Mr Lyon said.

EdgeVL has started design concepts for the sites to provide 162 apartments and a café.
