Bold new plan for park
A BOLD Park draft management plan has been released for public comment.
The draft includes new walking trails, fire research and a 100-year plan for the bushland.
It has been released by the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) and is open for public submissions until March 18.
BGPA chief executive Mark Webb said the plan had new initiatives that would enable Bold Park to remain at the forefront of conservation and visitor service practice.
“Bold Park enjoys strong community support, so we hope to receive a large number of submissions that will help us consider and finalise our management direction for the next five years,” Mr Webb said.
“We encourage all interested members of the community to access the draft plan on the BGPA website and have their say.”
