Fur the love of fashion

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Fashion -

LOCAL girl Sarah Clarke’s love of fur began when she was a child dressing up in her grandmother’s fur coats.

“This was my very first memory of what glamorous felt like and at that very moment I fell completely and utterly in love with the feeling,” Clarke said.

“Throughout the years I continued collecting fur garments until one day when I decided to create my own.

“Mode & Affaire began with a passion for glamorous fur pieces and a dream of dressing women around the world.”

The latest collection was recently shown at Frasers for the inaugural #Raisethestakes event.

The synergy of Mode & Affaire designs with Simone Perele lingerie was sheer perfection.

Clark’s label specialises in beautiful garments made from the finest fur and feathers.

The latest release is a leather collection, including tank, tee, shorts and culottes in five shades – snow, ink, onyx, dove and tan.

Mode and Affair is available at Varga Girl (Leederville), Eros Clothing and Jewellery (Fremantle), Harpers Emporium (East Fremantle), Peachy (Shenton Park) and Lulu + I (Cottesloe).
