Pollie comes in from the Fringe
FRINGE World Festival Perth has become the third biggest in the world and politician John Day has jumped on the bandwagon.
Premier Colin Barnett said at the launch of the 2016 festival last week that Day had become a “convertee” to Fringe World.
“Fringe World is to the arts what twenty20 is to the cricket,” Barnett said.
“It’s engaging people who may not have enjoyed the arts before.”
Guests at the launch were treated to a performance from La Soiree’s Captain Frodo.
