Threats at station
POLICE allege a Mosman Park man (43) threatened to rape and kill a professional woman at West Leederville train station about 5.25pm on January 16.
Senior Sergeant Tony Booker said the man recognised the woman from her job in the court system and the threat was made after he made attempts at conversation.
The woman called train security officers and the man was later arrested and charged with threats to injure and breaching a violence restraint order from an unrelated incident.
It is also alleged the man made threats, pushed a man and smashed a glass outside Bellissimo Restaurant, Claremont about 4.30pm on January 15.
He was charged with assault, stealing and disorderly conduct, before being bailed to appear in court at a later date. Sgt Booker said charges for both alleged incidents would depend on the outcome of the man’s seven-day psychiatric assessment.
