Japanese and European trip helps Radford steer directional styles
MORRISON designer Kylie Radford has teamed her win as this year’s WA Fashion Award Designer of the Year with a stunning contemporary autumn winter collection.
The range showcases the label’s modern aesthetic and commitment to luxury fabrics.
Radford said the collection was inspired by a trip to Japan and Europe that resulted in modern styling, both refined and understated.
Relaxed silhouettes in soft silks and linens are worn with more directional styles, including a wool alpaca cocoon coat, shearling leather jacket and dress, oversized wrap wool coat and fitted leather jacket.
Quality fabrics sourced from around the world include lightweight wools, butter-soft leathers, Italian washed denim and Japanese crisp white cottons.
Signature to Morrison’s aesthetic, this season is a focus on deconstructed styling, raw edges and asymmetrical hemlines.
The new collection is in store now.
