HEALTH preparations for travel are often overlooked, with up to one third of travellers admitting they got sick as soon as they begun to relax on their last holiday, says The Travel Doctor – TMVC Perth doctor Jennifer Sisson.

In its ninth year, the clinic’s team of experienced doctors and nurses provide individual medical advice on international health risks personalised to customers’ itinerary.

“In addition to your trav- el basics, it’s also worthwhile considering taking medical kits with you on your trip such as our Gastro or Holiday kits,” Dr Sisson said.

“Some travel-related diseases and illnesses aren’t covered by vaccinations, so preventative health products such as repellents and anti-malaria medications if going to a risk area are very important to staying healthy on your holiday.”
