Break-in spate on Station Street

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Streetwatch -

THIEVES hit at least three shops on Station Street in Cottesloe during the weekend of April 30 to May 1.

“We suspect they all happened about the same time,” Sergeant Darren Gates said.

Shops in the street were repeated targets of ram-raid thieves several years ago.

That spate led to the installation of CCTV in the area, and footage from the system is currently being reviewed to see if it can assist police with the investigation into the recent crimes.

Sgt Gates said the front door was forced at Body and Soul Skin Care, but nothing was taken about 5.10am on May 1, but a necklace worth $300 was taken after a front door was forced at a nearby shop.

The raiders also forced open the door of nearby Nee-How Massage, but nothing was taken, overnight on April 30.
