New foundation for disadvantaged kids
NEWLY formed children’s charity Be Inspired Foundation will hold an official launch to raise vital funds for disadvantaged children and youth on Saturday, May 28.
To be held at the City Beach Oval Pavilion, the event will include live music, silent auction, raffles, door prizes and the opportunity to hear from the foundation and its ambassadors.
Bayswater resident and charity director Shane Newton said he became involved with the organisation because he believed the charity was able to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged chil- dren in the community.
“It provides rehabilitation treatment plans to disadvantaged children,” he said.
“I believe it’s important to help these children access the required services they need to help improve their quality of life.”
All funds raised on the night will go towards children from disadvantaged backgrounds living with chronic disease, cancer, disabilities or major trauma to access evidenced-based services such as exercise physiology, dietetics and psychological services.
Tickets are $30. More information at www.facebook.com/beinspiredaustralia, book online through trybooking.com or phone 1300 799 915.
