Hobbs’ understated detail fits WA style

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Fashion -

THE Treasury building and Cathedral Square development, aided by a very charismatic little Citroen called Betsy, formed the backdrop for the Hobbs autumn winter 2016 shoot.

This season’s collection brings the best international trends to a covetable everyday style.

Sneakers and utility flats make a statement, embellished with vintage washes and a hint of sparkle.

Laser-cut elements, lace-ups, studs and a little fringing add lust-worthy detail to heels and boots. Moving on from the ballet, structured flats take centre stage. This more masculine look has been interpreted through slippers, brogues and lace-ups.

Ankle boots continue their dominance over knee-high boots, taking on all the feature and texture of the season.

Hobbs buyer Lucy Ahern said customers would find global, ontrend styles they could immediately incorporate into their wardrobe.

“The season’s understated detail will fit well with our WA style,” she said.
