WEM­B­LEY Net­ball Club’s open di­vi­sion one team had a con­vinc­ing 56-32 win over Stir­ling Saints while rais­ing aware­ness for the Breast Cancer Net­work Aus­tralia on Satur­day.

The club’s play­ers wore pink socks and hair ties to mark Pink Socks Day at Matthews Net­ball Centre.

In other games, reign­ing pre­miers Scar­bor­ough had a 40-23 win over Aran­more Jets, Phan­toms de­feated City Beach (1) 55-48 and Clas­sics had a 55-49 win over City Beach (2).

Clas­sics (1) beat Perth Col­lege 57-18 in the ju­nior di­vi­sion one com­pe­ti­tion while Clas­sics (2) also had a win de­feat­ing John XXIII 3733 and Methodist Ladies’ Col­lege beat City Beach Surfers 51-32.

MLC beat John XXIII by a goal (35-34) in the ju­nior Year 7-8 com­pe­ti­tion while City Beach de­feated Clas­sics (1) 40-33 and Clas­sics (2) had a 40-29 win over Perth Col­lege.

Wem­b­ley NC sup­ported the BCNA on Satur­day.
