The Ku-ring-gai Netball Association has been creating opportunities for increased netball participation through their ongoing support of the Allstars program. Last year, the Association was one of the winners of the Australia Post One Netball Community Awards, for ensuring the Allstars were included in all Association activities alongside other teams, to promote true inclusion. Australian Diamonds player and Australia Post One Netball Ambassador, Clare McMeniman, said the awards are a great way to share the stories of those who use the power of the game to create a safe, inclusive and fun environment for all. “We’re on the lookout for passionate inclusion advocates across the country, both on and off the court – from coaches and umpires to players, parents and volunteers - who work tirelessly to connect people in their local neighbourhood and drive an open and inclusive environment through our great game,” McMeniman said. Nominations are now open and close midnight EST on Sunday, 31 July 2016.
