SHENTON Park Dogs’ Refuge Home has received 250 towels to help keep homeless hounds warm and dry this winter.

The donation comes from Subiaco-based property group QUBE, after an order the company made of towels for its 20th anniversary was incorrectly processed.

QUBE managing director Mark Hector, said the decision was made to donate all the towels after they realised there was a mistake relating to the branding,

“We’re delighted that the towels are going to be put to such good use, particularly as winter approaches and there’s even more need for them.” Mr Hector said.

“Over the years, we have become aware of the great work being carried out at the Dogs’ Refuge Home in Shenton Park, and in fact all of our team here at QUBE are huge dog lovers, so it seemed logical to donate the towels to our local dog charity.”

Refuge president Karen Rhodes said they were grateful for the donation and very pleased to be receiving such support.
