A STOLEN credit card was used in multiple frauds totalling $411 after a purse was taken from the door pocket of an unlocked Audi at a Robroy Street home overnight on May 30. Senior Sergeant Tony Booker said the credit card was used within an hour of being stolen. The frauds started with a mobile phone being credited twice for $90, a $31.50 taxi ride, a $100 purchase at Better Choice in Osborne Park and purchases of $50 and $40 at Osborne Park service stations. The suspected fraudsters are two women aged in their late teens or early 30s, both with dyed blonde hair and dark complexions, with one wearing a grey top and the other a black hooded jumper.
A MOTOR scooter left at the front of a house was a prize target for thieves at a North Street home between June 1 and June 6. “It was not secured in any way, nor was it locked,” Senior Sergeant Tony Booker said. The scooter, registration 1FL 639, had not been recovered late last week.
