A STOLEN credit card was used in mul­ti­ple frauds to­talling $411 af­ter a purse was taken from the door pocket of an un­locked Audi at a Ro­broy Street home overnight on May 30. Se­nior Sergeant Tony Booker said the credit card was used within an hour of be­ing stolen. The frauds started with a mo­bile phone be­ing cred­ited twice for $90, a $31.50 taxi ride, a $100 pur­chase at Bet­ter Choice in Os­borne Park and pur­chases of $50 and $40 at Os­borne Park ser­vice sta­tions. The sus­pected fraud­sters are two women aged in their late teens or early 30s, both with dyed blonde hair and dark com­plex­ions, with one wear­ing a grey top and the other a black hooded jumper.

A MO­TOR scooter left at the front of a house was a prize tar­get for thieves at a North Street home be­tween June 1 and June 6. “It was not se­cured in any way, nor was it locked,” Se­nior Sergeant Tony Booker said. The scooter, reg­is­tra­tion 1FL 639, had not been re­cov­ered late last week.
