Front pages in frame

Western Suburbs Weekly - - News -

READERS can purchase framed copies of Western Suburbs Weekly front pages.

The images are printed on a semigloss board and finished by Claremont Art Framers with a 30mm wide, 20mm deep black frame with a smooth matte black finish and glass front.

John XXIII student Ruth Bourke has featured in the first framed front page, which hit the streets on December 8 last year.

The 15-year-old was preparing to head to Sydney after winning an Opera Australia Regional Student Scholarship.

Ruth said last week it was a great experience and showed her the dream of a career in opera was realistic. She performed in front of Opera Australia artistic director Lyndon Terracini.

“He was really nice and very chilled, it was quite informal,” Ruth said.

Framed front pages are $600, with a smaller option available for $350.
