Little bundles of joy

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Business -

SUBIACO sisters Kate and Jay Downie launched their boutique gift box service Beautiful Bundles earlier this month.

The duo said they wanted to create a gift box service focusing on premium Australian artisan suppliers.

“We wanted a gift box service that focused less on shortbread, generic crackers and a cheap bottle of wine, and being from WA, we wanted to feature WA suppliers as much as possible,” Kate said.

“The products included are all non-perishable and non-alcoholic and there are a variety of ‘bundles’ to choose from.

“It’s a great option for the time-poor and those who want to provide a more meaningful gift.”

Bundles feature a range of categories including A New Person, Thanks a Bundle, We Want You Better, Sorry and Blokey, with all deliveries hand-packaged into a specially designed box that can include a personalised note.

“Over the years, both Jay and I found ourselves constantly searching for the appropriate gift to send for a range of occasions,” Kate said. “We wanted to give a gift that was modern, unique, more meaningful and made a lasting impression.”

With a focus on WA suppliers, Jay said they also tried to use female owned WA-based businesses where possible.

“Beautiful Bundles is a quick, reliable service that you can always count on for delivering gorgeous gift boxes,” Jay said. “It’s important to us to use premium West Australian products where we can as we’ve got such a fantastic range of suppliers in this state.”
