New fashion Cartell

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Fashion -

MANNING Cartell’s latest collection, Paths to Abstraction, is a mix of art forms and genres, juxtaposing the old with the new, the tough and the delicate.

Old world furs, velvets and cashmere contrast with graphic prints, magnified colours and super shine finishes.

There are pieces that mix refinement with a touch of street smart edge.

The textural denim, leather and velvet add a ’70s feel to the collection and contrast against flowing layers.

Maxi coats with denim inspired details, splits and lean sleeves layer separate pieces with texture combining prints, while cut out work laces with long bell sleeves, built up necklines and embellishment with a touch of the Victorian era.

The ’60s cheeky inspired Aline mini, asymmetric and sheer maxis create layered variations.

Manning Cartell autumn winter 2016 is all about rich colours, opulent textures, heritage fabrics and graphic prints with textures of retro glam in romance of days gone by.
