Kat’s survival skills put to test
FORMER Devahasdin and WACA public relations guru Kat Dumont is one of three West Aussies to be marooned on the tropical island of Samoa as part of Australian Survivor.
The 26-year-old, who recently returned from a whirlwind trip overseas, quit her job at the WACA to take part in the show, which began filming earlier this year.
Her fellow 23 contestants range in age from 23 to 62 and include an ex-professional cricketer, a criminal lawyer, a firefighter and a magician.
Together they will be deprived of basic comforts, must build their own shelter, light their own fires, gather their own food and fend for themselves.
Australian Survivor is due to air on the Ten Network in the coming months.
Kat Dumont will appear on the coming series of Australian Survivor.
