Salon nails it in new lo­ca­tion

SUBIACO busi­ness owner Cather­ine Shales said she moved to Subiaco five years ago be­cause she saw it as the best place to run a busi­ness.

The nail tech­ni­cian, ed­u­ca­tor and owner of The Nail De­pot re­cently moved to a new lo­ca­tion on For­rest Walk in Subiaco to ex­pand her busi­ness.

She said she first got in­volved in the beauty in­dus­try af­ter hunt­ing for a good nail tech­ni­cian.

“I moved to Subiaco be­cause I found it was a desti­na­tion place and no mat­ter where peo­ple lived they would want to come into the area,” she said.

“We moved to For­rest Walk be­cause my lease had ex­pired and I wanted to ex­pand the busi­ness to sell a high-qual­ity range of prod­ucts and to fo­cus on the train­ing school for nails.”

Ms Shales has trav­elled the world teach­ing artis­tic nail de­sign and has won awards for ed­u­ca­tion.

She said the dif­fer­ence be­tween The Nail De­pot and other nail sa­lons was the one-onone ex­pe­ri­ence.

“We of­fer a pro­fes­sional ser­vice and treat­ments that suit the in­di­vid­ual needs of the cus­tomer,” she said.
