CLAREMONT QUARTER

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Spring -

GET your wardrobe ready for spring with a fantastic line up of leading Australian designer labels at Claremont Quarter.

Stylist Elizabeth Clarke said we can expect to see lots of shoulders and striking patterns this spring.

“Designers are baring sun kissed clavicles with off the shoulder necklines and sexy diagonal ruffles,” she said.

“Plaid is back, with the most original interpretation by Camilla who has teamed hers with leopard, florals and lots of embellishment.

“The 70s are cool again with Zimmermann’s romantic floral dresses and Morrison’s cotton shirting and high waisted pants.”

Ms Clarke also said to look out for strong diagonal shapes and stripes such as with Marcs and Sass and Bide and big pops of colour, as seen at Carla Zampatti.

Some key items fashion lovers should look out for this season are bathers, maxi dresses, basic tees, low-slung denim and easy wear drawstring trousers such as those from Bassike (David Jones).

“This season the crisp white shirt is super strong, Karen Millen’s version looks great teamed with Gorman’s 70s style denim culottes,” Ms Clarke said.

“And be sure to invest in the shoe of the season too – the perfectly flat mule.”

This year has seen Claremont Quarter grow with additions such as Scanlan Theodore, M.J. Bale, Manning Cartell and luxury resort wear label Camilla. Visit 9 Bayview Terrace, Claremont.
