■ BETHANIE in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Agelink Theatre will present Some En­chanted Af­ter­noon at 2pm on Sat­ur­day, Septem­ber 10 as part of De­men­tia Aware­ness Month. The free event for peo­ple with de­men­tia, their car­ers and in­ter­ested par­ties will be based on mu­sic and mem­o­ries. It will be held at Su­bi­aco Theatre, 180 Hamer­s­ley Road. ■ EAR Sci­ence Clinic will host a Cochlear Im­plant Sup­port Evening fea­tur­ing a pre­sen­ta­tion of per­sonal sto­ries from cochlear im­plant re­cip­i­ents and a video of a cochlear im­plant switch-on. ■ WOMEN of Prostate Can­cer is host­ing a fe­male only movie fundraiser evening to help cel­e­brate women and raise funds for the men they sup­port. The film screen­ing will be Ab­so­lutely Fab­u­lous

The Movie with $30 tick­ets in­clud­ing a glass of bub­bles on ar­rival at 6.30pm. Film starts at 7pm and there will be a scarf con­test and raf­fle.
