Su­per trip ends at kids’ hos­pi­tal

SI­MON Kane and his band of su­per­hero friends rode in to PMH on their mo­torised scoot­ers and bikes on Satur­day af­ter trav­el­ling 625km from the South-West to Perth rais­ing money for The Kids’ Cancer Project.

The Su­perkids-Su­per­heroes scooter and bike rid­ers did a lap of Su­bi­aco to fin­ish their 10-day ride, a jour­ney they made in hon­our of De­clan Kane who is fight­ing an ag­gres­sive child­hood cancer.

The team mem­bers wore a dif­fer­ent su­per­hero cos­tume each day and rode in to PMH chant­ing “su­perkids, su­per­heroes”.

“The whole trip was awe­some, we’ve raised so much aware­ness,” Si­mon said.

“Kids love scoot­ers and su­per­heroes, so we’ve put the two to­gether.”

The team have al­ready raised more than $30,000.
