Super trip ends at kids’ hospital
SIMON Kane and his band of superhero friends rode in to PMH on their motorised scooters and bikes on Saturday after travelling 625km from the South-West to Perth raising money for The Kids’ Cancer Project.
The Superkids-Superheroes scooter and bike riders did a lap of Subiaco to finish their 10-day ride, a journey they made in honour of Declan Kane who is fighting an aggressive childhood cancer.
The team members wore a different superhero costume each day and rode in to PMH chanting “superkids, superheroes”.
“The whole trip was awesome, we’ve raised so much awareness,” Simon said.
“Kids love scooters and superheroes, so we’ve put the two together.”
The team have already raised more than $30,000.
