Widow robbed

A 91-YEAR-OLD widow liv­ing alone was un­harmed in a bur­glary dur­ing which three thieves took $4000 from her town­house on Cliff Street in West Perth .

The in­ci­dent oc­cured be­tween 7pm and 9pm on Septem­ber 7.

The haul in­cluded her late hus­band’s WA Rail­ways ser­vice medal and sou­venir coins, Perth Mint and min­ing com­pany coins, jew­ellery and credit cards.

A Mid­land woman (30) had charges of re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty dropped, but will reap­pear at Perth Mag­is­trates Court about other mat­ters on Septem­ber 28 and 30.

An­other Mid­land woman (33) was charged with bur­glary and ap­peared in court last Fri­day, and an Os­borne Park man (33) charged with bur­glary has been re­manded in cus­tody to reap­pear in court on Septem­ber 15.

Sgt Davis said more charges may be laid from con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions into sev­eral other bur­glar­ies and fraud re­cently in West Perth.
