Newsreader the subject of scrutiny
NARELDA Jacobs was scrutinised by young patients at PMH last week, becoming the 2016 portrait subject for the annual collaboration between the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture and Starlight Children’s Foundation Livewire program.
Perth artist Caroline Marinovich talked the aspiring artists through their pastel portraits on the final day of the workshop series that started last month.
Jacobs joins previous portrait subjects that include Adam Gilchrist, John Butler and Shaun Tan.
The patients’ works will be on display at the free Youth Award Exhibition from October 3-21 at Brookfield Place.
