Urban stretch avoided
TREVOR Sutcliffe worries that his backyard gum trees and his street parking will be at risk if infill is permitted in City Beach (Opinion, September 13).
Of course, if most people feel like him, there will be no infill at all. The council is not compulsorily acquiring land.
What is certain however is that without infill there will be back yards and streets stretching from Lancelin to Mandurah and his grandchildren will have to drive a lot farther to find a gum tree forest than his children did. Tom Cunneen, Swanbourne.
