TWO people have been charged over five thefts from cars at King’s Park on Sunday, October 9. The five cars were targeted between 11am and 4pm, with several items such as purses, wallets and an iPod stolen. After police made enquiries, they searched a Seville Grove home and charged a 25-yearold male with possession of drugs and drug implements and a 26-year-old woman with possession of stolen property. The iPod was recovered. Perth police officer in charge Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said the number of thefts in that area had “dropped dramatically” since.
