Noonan to headline A Night on Bay View

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Street Watch -

SINGER Katie Noonan will headline the Town of Claremont’s A Night on Bay View on Saturday, October 29.

The town is set to come alive with fine food and live music as the ARIA awardwinning vocalist performs interdisciplinary collaborations across the jazz, pop and classical music genres.

Noonan’s performance follows a performance by Christine Anu in 2015, which according to Mayor Jock Barker was a success.

“A Night on Bay View is a special evening for our community to relax with friends and family in the beautiful Claremont Park while enjoying some delicious food from local eateries and the sounds of Katie Noonan,” he said.

Noonan, who has worked with Rafael Bonachela and the Sydney Dance Company, the Sydney and Queensland Symphony Orchestras, jazz musicians Joe Lovano, Vince Jones and Zac Hurren, will share the stage with trio The Sirens.

The night will also include an alfresco restaurant overlooking Claremont Park featuring Tamarind Cafe, Lucioli, Brooklyn Lounge, The Claremont Hotel, Elementi Cooking School and Academy Cafe.

Participants in the Light the Night walk.

Katie Noonan.
