Dilettante via Beirut

DILETTANTE’S recently renovated Claremont store marked the 10-year anniversary of the boutique’s commitment to providing WA fashion lovers with exclusive international labels.

Store director Diana Paolucci added to the celebration by collaborating with Beirut-based jeweller Rosa Maria for an exclusive event where guests could customise their own Rosa Maria ring, choosing from an array of the designer’s signature precious stones, natural-coloured diamonds and metal finishes.

Rosa Maria has gained a cult following for its organic adornments, which are made to be layered and stacked to create what the jeweller affectionately describes as a “bouquet”.

Paolucci said she chose to collaborate with Rosa Maria for the milestone anniversary, citing the status of diamonds as a symbol of beauty and longevity as her inspiration.

“Diamonds are traditionally a symbol to celebrate pinnacle moments in life, and nobody does diamonds like Rosa Maria,” she said.

“The recent renovation of our flagship Claremont boutique (4 Bayview Terrace) is really special to me and reiterates my dedication and passion for this business, so it seemed natural to celebrate this with our clients.”

Australian designers Song for Mute join the Dilettante brand line-up for the new season, alongside trendsetters such as Vetements, Rick Owens and Acne Studios.
