Big night out for magazine vendors
SEVERAL vendors of The Big Issue were treated to dinner courtesy of Perth media and bloggers recently, who cooked up a storm with the OzHarvest team.
Carmen Braidwood, Brad ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald, Kymba Cahill and Matt Dyktynski were among chefs in the OzHarvest kitchen who made beef and chorizo ragout, cheese balls, haloumi stuffed mushrooms, moussaka, and bread and butter pudding.
Professional chefs Phil Westwood and Vincent Lim oversaw the amateurs in the kitchen.
The event hosted by OzHarvest was part of Anti-Poverty Week.
