READERS across Perth will have an op­por­tu­nity to learn how to make their su­per­an­nu­a­tion work bet­ter for them with a se­ries of free work­shops in Oc­to­ber and Novem­ber.

The Money Talks ed­u­ca­tion sem­i­nars, pre­sented by Aus­tralian Su­per, will cover a range of top­ics re­lat­ing to su­per­an­nu­a­tion and fi­nance.

Par­tic­i­pants have the chance to learn all the facts and tips that they need to make the most of their fam­ily's su­per sav­ings and plan for the fu­ture.

Top­ics will in­clude re­tire­ment strate­gies, in­come ac­counts, tax sav­ings and fi­nan­cial ad­vice.

Com­mu­nity News­pa­per Group editor-in-chief Matt Zis said the work­shops were a great way to ask the ques­tions peo­ple needed to ask about their fu­ture fi­nan­cial plans.

“Su­per­an­nu­a­tion is some­thing about which we all have ques­tions,” he said.

“How much is enough? Do I need to be do­ing some­thing dif­fer­ent? What's the best way to go about it?

“Th­ese free work­shops are a great way to ask the ques­tions you al­ways wanted to ask but did not know who you could ask.”

Work­shops will be held in Can­ning Vale (Oc­to­ber 26), The Vines (Novem­ber 2) and Mt Law­ley (Novem­ber 3).
